Justin Gilday, Sculptor and Jeweller

Still-Life, Homage to Zurbaran
A shaft of light from the nave window in the little church of Iping in West Sussex transformed this shelf of fruit into a luminous composition that in its stillness reminded me of the still-lifes of the great Spanish painter Zurbaran.
