The missing shot

Waking up this morning I discovered this image. Apparently after late night Halloween celebrating I had come home , grabbed my camera and gone out again to get the shot. Good to know the photographic faculty still works even though others might have shut down!

It seems fitting to open this blog with a photograph of my Dad who was such an inspiration to me. The picture was taken by my Mother some time in the 1940’s and has all the hallmarks of that era. To me it is a very romantic image.
