What was a factory becomes a Cathedral!

A small selection of new Copper Plate images on show at The Keame’s Yard Gallery on the seafront in Whitstable.

Seen a couple of weeks ago near Borough Market in London. There wasn’t a lot of music coming out but the flames were pretty impressive!

This is an example of the Copper Portraits that I’ve been making recently. Its a fiddly process but the end result is great I think. Aesthetically they are reflective and almost mirror-like something akin to a Daguerotype. The imagery here derived from a digital file, rephotographed to get a negative and then printed onto copper plate that has previously been coated with varnish and gelatine.
